As far as his coat color goes, he is as brown as the desert at the Sunset hour. He could be compared to a piece of golden brown toast, but then that would suggest that he was toast, and he his not! His claws are long and sharp, he is steady when he walks, and loves a good run to refresh him. His tail, although plenty scarred, is long, as are his legs and body. Azibo’s ears are his best trade! They are tall, and triangular, and have a translucent look when the sun hits them just right. Upon his forehead, there are two black stripes that run all the way down his back, fading at his tail. Although they are not as stand-out-ish on his back as they are on his forehead, you can still tell that they are there. His nose is a red color, and there is a black streak which runs across it. In all, Azibo is very well kept, well fed, and muscular. PERSONALITY 312 • • Inside the Warriors House: When Azibo is not out doing his duty, he is busy trying to keep things in order in the Warriors house just outside of the Pharaoh’s home. You would generally think that Azibo, being the one to keep things in order, would be a mature young male. In fact, he is… in his own way. He takes things and his job seriously, but when he needs to let off some steam he turns into pranks. None of these are ever good, and if they were, then they would be cliché! And Azibo is not cliché, he will spend hours thinking up the perfect prank to play on one of his fellow warriors – he also doesn’t mind being the one who is being pranked. He loves a good thrill, and when he can’t get it in a fight, this is what he turns too. Outside the Warriors House: Outside of the Warriors house, Azibo is all business! He can’t stand it when someone is goofing off on the job. He takes his training very seriously, and wishes that others could see it the same way. That isn’t to say, though, that he doesn’t recognize that it is always bad to be strait forward on a job, in fact, if he bored enough he’ll cause some trouble. He isn’t one to snitch on someone unless the cause for snitching was really worth snitching about. Other than everything you’ve just read, he’s a tom of business. If he wasn’t a warrior, he would probably be a thief. Everything In Between: Azibo thinks himself a very attractive cat, and isn’t afraid of flirting with a she-cat when he’s off duty. Most of the time he can be found wandering the streets, always willing to teach a young cat a little something that he knows! HISTORY 414 • • From Kit Hood: Things were pretty smooth. Azibo wasn’t an only child, though when he was only half a year old the most beautiful of she-cats entered his life, his sister. To him, there was nothing more beautiful in the while world! Azibo loved his sister and cherished every moment with her. They were very close indeed. His sister’s name was, rightfully, Lotus. Lotus was a small, delicate thing. Azibo wished he could give her the whole world, and by the whole world, the part of Phae. Naturally, he knew this would never happen. The one thing he did know, was that he was to be a Ma’at, and that meant that in a few moons he would be sent off for the better part of a year to train with the Ma’at apprentices, and the rising Ma’at’s. To Ma’at Apprentice: Sure enough, a few months after his beloved Lotus was born, Azibo was taken away to be branded with the mark of a Ma’at, and sent off the large arena to train till he grew in knowledge. At first he didn’t take the whole thing quite seriously, and the older Ma’at took notice of this and decided that it would be good for him to be taught a lesson – not just in respect, but he was also the weakest fighter they had, had in weeks. An older Ma’at by the name of Aten, decided he would take the young Ma’at under his wing, so to speak, and teach him everything that he possibly could before he passed. Not that it was exactly what Azibo needed; in fact it was quite the opposite! The more Aten pressed Azibo, the more negative, and rebellious he seemed to become. Not quite sure what to do with the rebel, Aten decided – because he felt it wise and he would often council himself – to probe young Azibo’s mind. The old tom wasn’t quite ready for what he was getting himself into. It didn’t take long for Azibo to spill everything he felt to Aten. Now a Ma’at: Apparently, that was exactly what Azibo needed. Aten, feeling like he had succeeded in his communication skills – or what little there was. As Azibo got older, he matured into what you see now.
